hi would it be hard, possible to put r32 gtr rear guards on a r32 gtst 2door?

It would require some serious cutting, welding and bogging, as guards are part of rear quarter panel.

someone did this a while ago, might have been on SDU

the only reason why he did it was because he had a crash and somehow both back quaters were screwed. insurance payed for a bit and het chipped in some more to find GTR rear guards. without the help from insurance there was no way he would have done it because it would have been too expensive

On the other hand, you could get a hold of some FRP GT-R rear fender copies... then attach them to the original fenders giving you the GT-R wide look, but still with the real fenders underneath albeit cut back to take larger diameter and width wheels. This mod isn't so much a cosmetic change, it's more for legality.

i think he means so the car is legal, so the wheels aren't sticking out of the guards

takes ages and its a pain in the arse

the FRP ones WILL crack no matter wat anyone tells you
