at .99 or 1 bar it should be running heaps more than 3psi... actually even if it's not working, the std wastgate spring should still hold at least ~7psi (~.5bar)

I think he might have calculated the guage wrong because we started a fight over it because on the standard guage it was going to about 6 psi (the max being 7 psi) though he was the mech and i wasn't so he was right in his mind.

I though it was going pretty alright for 3 psi thats why I questioned it. But I have only had a 4cyl turbo to compare it to, which is not a good compare.

I think I'll take it into the shop and ask them what to do about it and get them to teach me.

what was the evc going too when the std guage went to 6?

I wasn't watching, was watchin the road, I'm not used to the car yet, this was yesterday when I was driving it for the second time ever so??? I'll have a look tonight is anyone going to Broady carpark because if you are I can show you there??? If not I might drive to Bris at Midnight.

Mine must be running 9 psi then, I have no idea how it works i'm going to have to go and see a specialist

sounds like std boost... have a read thru the instructions... might be a simple answer :)

SBC is the scramble boost button - allows you to increase boost above low/high settings at the push of a button, for a given period of time. You can specify how much boost increase you want and how long you want it to last. There's a connector for an external switch you can mount anywhere.

Kind of like the 'overtake boost' feature of some of the newer units
