installing boost gauge

hey i done a search and couldnt find nothin...just want to no if anyone could help me hook up my hks gauge?i no these things!

1.hook vacum line up(not to hard to work out)....

2.connect the wire 1 into wire somewhere to get light to gauge.

3.there is a second wire splicing out of the first where does this go?

its a machincal gauge?

does antone no if these hks gauges have to be connected to a power box like the defi gauges?cheers

the other wire you need to hook up to an earth. Just wire it up to anything that is metal and earthed to the body of the car.

most boost gauges are mechanical. simply blow or suck on a hose connected up to it and watch the gauge move.
