Clutch Sizes

Hi all

Is there a difference in clutch sizes when it comes to RWD and AWD

in the R32's

because i have bought a clutch and pressure plate off a guy who said it would fit an r32, i tried to fit it (mine being RWD) but the clutch and pressure plate where to big (to one i was supplied with (my guess is that it is for an AWD version?????)).

I just bought a clutch kit for my r32 gtst - its a daiken/exeedy NSK7056HD

The clutch plate is 240mm in diameter...

What clutch did you get?

just found out from a few people here that the AWD clutch is bigger

then the RWD

So now i have to go buy an RWD clutch : )

In what way is it bigger?

as rhett said 240mm is the driven plates diamter whats the diameter on your 4wd one?

A lot of RB20's had slightly smaller clutches.

Some had the later RB25 flywheel which is the same as GTR.

the only ones with smaller clutch should be hr31 style with the 6 bolt pressure plate to flywheel (228mm driven plate) rather than the 9 bolt (240mm)

Yep , but we still see them.

He just bought an Rb25 one from us which suits his 2nd hand clutch setup.

225 mm clutch in a 32 ?

Never seen 1 in a 32 , and ive done a few

240mm is listed for all rb20s except the hr31 wich is 225 mm

straight out of my Daiken clutch book :bp:
