is this a good compression on a GTR

looking at a GTR atm, its got a compression reading of 150psi on all cylinders... just wondering if this is a good reading as i wouldnt have a clue???

Yeah this is fine, new they are 170 - 180 anything under 140 is a bit iffy.

The important thing too is the consistency across all cylinders. All gauges read slightly differently, so if you have one or more that are different to the others by more than say 10psi, it might indicate a problem.

have you also considered getting a leak down test done - easy and cheap to get done. Any work shop should be able to do this for you.

This will show more problems than a comp test only IMHO

Agree - consistency across all pots is the thing to look for
