WTB VG30DET Turbo. Busted if possible

Hey ppls.

I'm looking for a turbo from VG30 DET.

Must be the single turbo type and can be in any condition at all.

Busted or blown doesn't matter.

Try giving ATP a call in Murrembeena...kyp has HEAPS of blown (or otherwise) turbos lying around his shop.

i have one that may even be ok.... has next to no shaft play but oil seals may be gone it may even be fine... i also have an r33 rb25det turbo in the same condition....pm me your offer......

Good luck finding one, I tried in every single dodgy wrecker in campbellfield and the north suburbs and most of them dont know or havent got one.

I gave up on the search.

I now know they are rare, that's why I spent 4 hours last night scouring the America sites and wreckers and sending heaps of e-mails and trying to call a few people as well.

I have a couple of leads so far, but if I have to go to the states to find them, I'm scraping the bottom.

Sorry to jump in here and all but what is the a/r of the vg rear housing and the RB25 rear housing?

The one we are lookinf for has a a/r housing of 0.62, compared to the rb25 0.48 a/r

i've got bought the turbo similar to the one shown on ur pic but i think it's not the one you want because the rear flange is different to the r33! This turbo is off 300zx single turbo. I think Ian's is VG30det off something else!!
