Guys,

I need a front mount (600X300X75) + Kit + installation, Im after a hybrid brand or similar don’t really have the $$$ for a TRUST or Greddy Brand.

I have read through some threads and found that there is no chance in hell that i would be able to install one myself....

Basically im after a workshop that will install one for a good price!

i have rang some well known workshops just wondering if anyone knew of anymore around Sydney???

Justjap's kits are very easy to install yourself, same with Hybrid kits. only a few basic tools needed. if u are after a Hybrid kit try Hybrid Power @ Ingleburn ph: 9829 7388. From memory they quoted me 300 for fitting.....i think....

power was one of the cheapest they said $1150 but the guy said he cuts a bit of the blade tips to fit it in, i rang another place in Smithfield and he said they use a spacer instead of cutting it....

id love to do it myself but not too confident in cutting my front bar and the fan blades

im like Tim from Home Improvement hopeless with tools :)

Why pay more for a "Hybrid" kit when the intercoolers available in the Just Jap type 1 kits are exactly the same?

If you are buying a Hybrid Bar and plate, which are currently phasing out, they are pretty much the same as the Hybrid style 'copies'. Repeated dicussion whether they are from the same factory or not or a copy.Even if not they are very close.

JustJap do the type2 chrome kit for like $650. It only a tiny bit extra from sponsor vendors for a Hybrid if they are still coming into the country.

However the Hybrid Tube and Fin is definately better than the standard bar and plate. :uh-huh:

$300 is pretty much the average price for fitting of a FMIC but why not try having a go yourself? It's not really that hard, a bit of common sense and a little THC inspiration should see ya new FMIC in there in 'bout 3 hours. Just go easy when you start to hack into ya front bumper - take a little bit off at a time.

Thanks guys i got it done around a 2 weeks ago

$1100 all up for a hybrid cooler

it was a Ok Job but definitely not very professional.. next time ill pay the $100 extra and get stuff done at a well known workshops

eg. CRD and advan

next fix brakes and then

get a boost controller to 12psi

and thats it.. maybe get bucket seats for my bday

and then no more!

After i got my cooler in i find it more laggy does any1 else have this problem?
