Use a 6 side socket, not a multi point one.

Failing that , hammer a 12 point socket on that is slightly smaller which will tend to bite better and maybe shock the nut looser.

Also spray with crc or similar.

Be prepared to destroy the socket though..

Hope someone has some experience here. My wheel nut has been overtightened and has been lost its hexagonal threading and been rounded off, anyone got any tips on how to get it off.  

Can I chisel it straight????

smaller sockets and hammers do the trick sweet.

or park it in bankstown somewhere.. surely someone will try steal the wheels.
