yer it was a exceddy H/D organic face with a brass button pressure plate. i don't know anything about clutches thats why i posted this thread is this a good clutch

yea it is good, you can let it slip so it takes alot of pressure of your ruinng gear, but do you have to get it imported from jappan? cause i am getting the same one an my one has to

from what i have been told by a few people in another thread on here, if you are looking anyhting over 200rwkw's you should look at a ceramic clutch. I'm going to get the Xtreme heavy duty ceramic cushioned clutch.

Exedy Single Plate Organic Racing Clutch

Exedy Racing clutches with organic friction materials use only premium friction materials that are resistant to slippage and burst. Increased clamp loads give the necessary capacity to handle modifed engines. Organic friction material clutch is the preferred clutch for street and light horse power track.. The Exedy Organic Clutch can increase your stock torque capacity by up to 69% and when compared to other clutches, it offers more bang for your buck.

How do you drive your car ? Do you race it allot?

Do you do burnouts, drift or lots of HARD proper launches?

Ifso, a heavy duty will NOT last. I have burnt them in 1 month of PROPER driving :)

I went button and it lasted me 6 months of the same things i did in a button which lasted 1 month.

Now i have HKS Twin Plate and its been such a long time.. over a year :thankyou:

I have an S15 with 242rwkw.I had the Exedy Hyper Single in for 5 months, all was fine till my first visit to Calder. The clutch let go on the first run.I have since put in an Exedy Twin Plate. It's a bitch taking off normal in traffic, but great when you dial up the revs.Exedy rate their clutches with HP figures. The Hyper Single was rated at 420hp,the twin plate at 700hp.Check the clutch your getting is rated at least 15% more than your power.
