Oil leak from where ?

nismo oil/air separtor.... one of the pipings does not fit right thus leaking oil when on boost.

i'm not at QR today cos i'm doing darlington park as well

Yeah I went out this arvo to check it out, must say the last session was good with the drift practise :uh-huh:

I still loved that green Fiat 125 (1600 look-a-like) getting big slides in the last session due to some oil on the last corner :werd:

Drift practice, Ah, that's so damn funny. John didn't see the funny side of the drifting but they didn't actually say don't do it (they said it was race practice - close enough).

Naughty Noddy - Naughty (Of course no one else was drifting - no sir - not that guy in the silver r33 with blizzaks on - )

That said, hats off to Noddy for a great drive - sitting in the passenger seat was quite an experience.

Great to meet a few more people too - and hopefully the black 33GTR is not too expensive to repair - got a touch smokey

Also set a new PB on the sprint track - will update best times when I find the slips.

Its rebuild time!!

Did a piston, so will be out of action for a couple of weeks.

Had to happen eventually. I've been driving it pretty hard on the track for about 18 months now with no major probs to date.

Looking to upgrade to forgies and maybe change cams at the same time.

Ouch Peter, that hurts. I am sure you have something good planned for it though . I just wanted a go this week, my car feels very good, but it wasn't to be, should be all fixed by the end of the week. Just want to see if these subtle improvements make any real difference to my times. . . .

Yeah Guys - the standard Steve Austin trick - (we can rebuild it, stronger, faster.......). Not looking at going overboard on the power thing - moreso a shitload stronger - forgies, N1 pumps & gaskets etc.

Should be back and ready for the August 30 run.(Fingers crossed)
