black sky
i'd say get an electronic boost controller. This will hold the waste gate shut so boost comes on quicker. the cheap boost controllers will still do the job but no where near as good. lwells
Well the simple answer is to try and free up the intake and exhaust so there is less resistance. What modifications have you made? LW. paulr33
as everyone else has said, less resistance = easier free flowing = wind up quicker make the exhaust less restrictive, good tune. good dump and front pipe and hiflow cat yeah a bleed valve will slow it down a little as its always bleeding regardless of pressure Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/79508-2-laggy/#findComment-1449110 Share on other sites
EVL032
im about to do the samt thinghave a VL high flow lined up can u tell me the specs of the turbo? also how many PSI are u running and how much power are you getting out of it? the turbo is a VL hi flowed with steel wheels front and rear dunno all da exact specs as i braught second hand and i forget easy. but yeh once u get to 4grand the power comes on hard havnt dynoed yet but its got krazy pull now! compared to the standard rb20 turbo i had on there and i am still only running 12psi for now!!! but the problem is the whole 4grand thing lanching is a bitch!! top end is good as bottom end well u can decide 4 urself i think!!!! no good Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/79508-2-laggy/#findComment-1455326 Share on other sites
Cubes
4k launching isn't so bad. The stock turbo on my rb20det used to require a 4k launch to get off the line without boggin down. predator
who told you it wouldn't be laggy? a 3L turbo stuck on a 2L ? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/79508-2-laggy/#findComment-1455511 Share on other sites
Al
Ring Kyp@ATP(95694765) and see if he can fit a smaller exhaust housing to the turbo, probably the cheapest way to do it. Otherwise you would probably require cams, head porting, cam gears, tunning.
