OK gentlemen , your oppinions on a fuel set up to support 850 hp at the crank.

I require info on setting up from the tank to the rail.

What line goes to what, surge/swirl tank and pump locations, fuel filters , regulator.

If one has twin 044 pumps , how doe's one set uplines , 2 into one reg and the into rail.

Twin pumps , have intank feed pot then to 2 pumps via y piece, have one pump running all the time and the other being activated via hobb switch say @ 20 psi?

Need the whole set up clarrified as setting up in the next few days .

All input appreciated.

Dont worry about the hobbs switch the, regulator will control how much pressure the rail sees.

As for 2 pumps it would be easier with 3 with unless you have a really big surge tank. Use a smaller pump(or 1) to fill the surge tank then run your 2 pumps in parrallel feeding the fuel line.Run your filters before the Y piece.

The reason you will only need the one pump feeding 2 pumps is theres bugger all pressure restricting the flow therefore it'll flow alot more.

How big is the surge tank you've got?

didnt you post something similar 2 weeks ago?

use that thread would be better as it had lots of ino i think

Yes i did , well picked up, but there were a few questions un answered.

The thread above answered them.

Thanx
