I recon we can make a competition out of this...

Fatz Drift Battle BBQ Burnout World Record Attempt!!

Totally second hand information. But apparently last night on guiness records. Some aussie guy broke the record for most revolutions in a burnout. 54 revolutions.

Amazingly he had to stop as his car overheated. It was a 2nd gear 4000rpm burnout.

Now i recon someone could get pretty close to that mark... So i recon we should be promoting a unofficial burnout world record attempt for all the burnout competition contestants on the day:)

hmmm, maybe we should prepare my 31 purely for the world record attempt. put on some bit fans to keep it cool, put some water in the radiator, put some oil in the motor then let rip. surely an RB30 could handle 55 revolutions?

question is who will sponsor this world record attempt?

yep found this:

Most Consecutive Donuts

Burnout champion RJ Bruno managed to set a new Guinness World Record benchmark when he did 64 donuts (360°revolutions of the car) in his hotted up Gemini at Queensland Raceway, before the car’s smoking motor packed it in.

I still think we need sponsorship. i mean who will pick up the tab at the pub afterwards. i heard those guiness record people are tight.

i am keen as!!

i am keen to give it a shot. just need a stock r31. 1st gear all the way.

my silhouette when stock did 3mins45seconds in a burnout in 1st gear at eastern creek burnout pad.

if i can get another 31 to last that long i reckon if u average just over 3 seconds per donut

i am keen!!

mate, I have a stock 31. I reckon we should collect some sponsorship, then make it burnout worthy, then ring GWC and sell them on the idea.

don't forget they have to be consecutive so you can stop and spin it back the other way, must keep going in one direction. it will be pretty hard, but with some practice i'm sure we can make it happen.

haha, up yours mark!

people in glass houses.... I seem to remember your car didn't make it out of the pit exit last time we were at the track.

but yes, you are right it needs a little love. (and possibly new dizzy).
