Mounting Apexi RSM & S-AFC II

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone is running an AFC and RSM and where it is mounted. Ive got an R34 GTT and strugglin tryin to decide where to mount em. Thanks for your help.

I have mine setup in my glovebox with my boost gauge.

that looks really nice... i guess the glovebox would be a good place for the AFC but kinda defeats the purpose installing an RSM there...

true that I have seen them on the steering colum just infront of the dash they look ok they but you would need to hide the wires somehow so it looks neet.

Something a lil different that the guy in the shop laughed at when I suggested it. I wanted to be able to quickly mount it anywhere didn't mind about the cables dangling as I wanted to quickly remove it when I got out the car to the glovebox. I was originally going to use the velcro everyone has suggested but I had another idea.

I wanted something with a ball joint so u could swivel it in any direction. I ended up getting a suction rear view mirror, not a large one but one that was about the size of my blitz sbc id3 and power meter controllers. I cut it to size, very lil had to be cut off depends which one u buy and stuck the displays on with the usual high bond double sided sticky tape. I then position it whereever I like, usually on my R33 its just to the right and down from my clock it suctions their wickedly, has never fallen off and is quick to put up and down again. I also at times stick it to the windscreen.

For a total cost of $10 its a lot cheaper than the apexi stands which can only swivel one way a lil limited for my liking. Everyone that sees it cannot believe it only cost me $10 cos it looks so good and easy to do!
