hey all... i searched through like 10 pages for something to relate my problem too but no luck

basically when i turn on my lights when the engine is running in my car the lights go dim all the lights on the dash light up and then engine slowly dies after a splutter

these probs usually mean the battery is ***d but when its running, its actually running good... soon as i turn the lights or indicators on BAM it starts to stall again

there is a little orange box behind the r/h front strut tower that makes a noise when the lights are on and when you tap it the wipers come on sometimes

k... well thanks for the help... if any one else searches through 10 pages and has this problem...

it was an earth wire disconnected from the wiring harness slightly behind the r/h headlight.
