hks 2510 on RB20DET.....

Recommended Posts

do these bolt up to all the standard bits?

-manifold

-dump pipe

-cooler piping

also - oil and water lines?

has anyone had one of these on their car with RB20DET, just wondering what sort of power on what boost is acheivable, i've heard they are well suited to the RB20dets.

Chris32 has one, or so he thinks, as he bought it under the impression it was a 2530. Provided you get the T3 flanged item it should be fine, but i suggest you do a search and/or get in touch with Chris.

if its the earlier model 2510's gotta make sure u got the elbow and silocon join for the compressor outlet so it goes into the stock pipes.....water & oil lines need to be redone. Braided is what i did.

what sort of power does the 2510 make? i've been told they tend to choke over 6500 rpm and that this is why the 2530 is a better option. also what boost is used on both to get power...?

PLEASE HELP ME DECIDE!!!!

I think that was me, actually 2535 turbo, but I think the 2530 would be much better suited to the RB20, should be a little less laggy, obviously the 2510 will spin up a little better although wont like to rev as much, I think its rated at around 200rwkw. But either way much better than the standard. I dont think either would be bad for drifting, and 2510 better down low.

just my two bucks worth.
