Power steering fluid

what sort of oil are people using for their power steering in an r33 gts-t?

Do you just use brake fluid? or do u need something else?

Um, I use power steering fluid in mine. Failing that then I grab some ATF and use that.

exc, most certainly not brake fluid. Power steering fluid is an oil, whereas brake fluid is not an oil. It is hydoscopic whereas power steering fluid is not.

I use either nissan powersteer or motul atf

DO NOT USE THE WRONG FLUIDS IN THE WRONG SYSTEMS !!

A young lady brought her skyline to me for a service after realizing she'd done the wrong thing from topping up the fluids.

After 3 weeks of driving, the brake fluid in her power steering destroyed her power steering system all together ( racks, pump, etc ). And, the power steering fluid in her brakes made all the rubber in her brake system turn soft and gooey causing the brakes to fail.

P/Steering Fluid in the Power Steering ( highly recommend adding some Roil Gold ). And Brake Fluid in the Brake reservoir ( and nothing else ).

Only exeption is atf in the power steering reserviour because atf = powersteering fluid

I use the castrol stuff in mine, does the job nicely

I didn't know you could actually buy "power steering fluid" have never seen it before.

Most Jap cars are happy to use Dexron III ATF for their powersteering.

i bought a bottle of castrol power steering fluid & also had a bottle of castrol ATF fluid, & i tipped a bit of each one into each lid, and i swear there is absolutely no difference.
