EOI: Soccer Match @ Xmas BBQ

The end of year is fast approaching and the SAU Vic committee has already looked at up coming events, from now to the end of year.

As usual we are going to have a Xmas BBQ, but to liven things up, we decided it may be a good idea to have a friendly soccer match. For this to happen, we will need to contact the local council and ensure the field is reserved for us on the day.

Just need to gauge wether we have enough interest b4 making any calls.

Feel free to leave other suggestions/ideas for the day.

Where is this event likely to happen?

I'm too old and rusty for soccer unless i can stand in one spot and hope someone gently places the ball in front of me!

we could play soccer-cricket which has the same rules as cricket only you use your feet as a bat and a soccer ball for a ball. OBVIOULSY no LBW!!!
