GTR700's Front Bar

Does anyone know what it is?

I know its not the Jun or Top Secret ones ... well at least the ones that are advertised on the Jun and Top Secret websites.

RH9GTR has this front bar also, i *think* it may be bomex or something. I know it's one of them well known brands though.

It says it's a "Trust drag front bumper bar with extensive modifications" on the specifications page of the website, but I don't know how long ago that it was updated.......

hmm...looks similar to mine (see below) but i have no idea what the exact make of mine is either! - could be just without the indicators and cut up slightly to fit the FMIC in. Its hard to tell from that angle.

It also says there's a "Do-Luck front aerodynamic under tray diffuser"......but I'm not sure if that is visible or not. The look could be a combination of the 2 or the diffuser may be completely hidden.

I believe Trusts aero parts are all sold under the GRACER label just like how some of their other parts are under the GREDDY label. According to the picture on the Japanese Trust website (and I'm assuming GTR700's is a GRACER kit) the bars still look VERY different meaning its not the same bar or the one on Mario's car is VERY modified. The verdict is still out.....

oh and yeh the diffusers cannot be seen from the front.

only the v-spec front bars. that's just a normal GT-R bar.

You have a copy of the series 1 R33 GTR front bar. The one with the wholes - N1 Vents are from series 2/3 GTR's.

No it's also on normal GTR front bars. I know for a fact all Series 3 GTRs have them vspec or not. Mine is non Vspec. I also havea HyperRev which shows revisions and its one of the minor revisions from series 1 (95 and early 96).....

Just to add confusion to the discussion, I have a 95 series 1 GTR Vspec which has the holes in the bumper....

I thought they were only on Vspecs too, but 400HP is right, maybe series 1's only had them on Vspecs and series 2 and 3 had them standard....

Speaking of Front Bumpers do the Trust R32 bumpers look anygood? Has anyone got a pic? I tried to navigate the Gracer site, but I'm hopless with Japanese sites.
