As my car is defected im going to take the turbo bleed valve off to pass the vehicle inspection. With the bleed balve its set at 10psi. Im going to remove the bleed valve to restore its standard boost of 7psi. With this done do I need to have the car tuned?

I wouldn't think so. I removed the boost restrictor on my car and then had it run up on the dyno and i gained 10 rwkw but it all was still within safety margins, so going backwards should be fine. I went from standard boost to about 12.6psi

Hey,

If the car was running ok on 10pounds, then it automatically means your mapped to run any boost / air flow condition, between vacuum and 10pounds.

Godzilla32's R is fine due to the over exuberant fueling from the stock Nissan ECU, simply scaling all the values ... I would have thought. =)
