both has manual and auto mode, look around for some description

The new GReddy Full Auto Timers pack tons of features in one economical, compact unit. In addition to two standard programmable count down presents (P-1, P-2) our timer also has two Auto Timer modes,(A-L, A-H) which estimates the driving RPM according to the vehicles alternator signal and then recommends a count down time. And now there is a Stopwatch/Lap Time mode, and Attack mode. There is also a built in Voltmeter and Speedometer. Still standard are the optional Parking Brake and Speedo Safety hook-ups.

HKS timer type 0

The HKS Turbo Timer Type-0 is a basic turbo timer that features an auto mode that adjusts engine idle time according to the most recent driving pattern, multiple preset times, audible alarms and a volt meter. The easy to read back-lit digital LCD display flashes between orange and red during the countdown.

Greddy I say...

I have that greddy timer, its prutty :P

Its got loads of features, you can read battery voltage, rpm, speed, lap times and quater mile times, the list goes on...im satisfied.

kewl that was my first choicie ... so it is does workout the time needed and then does it ?? or does it just recomend a time ?

Oh to answer the question gtst-25...

It does both. You can pre-set your time using P1-P2, or hook into rpm signal and use Auto mode. Make your selection and every time ignition is turned off it will remember either your p1-p2 set time, or suggest a time relating to how much thrashing it copped.

There's a booklet online somewhere in english for this timer, i printed out the 20 or so pages but dont have it with me :P

type 1 does a lot more. I normally leave it on the Rev Display, which has a 2 stage shift light feature. also has top speed, and all the standard performance measures (1/4 mile, 0-100 etc). Check out the English manual. you should be able to find on @ HKS-USA

:P
