hey guys, i havent go a r32 yet, but i want to buy one and i have to sell mty honda interga first to get it,

but i was wondering what is invioolevd in putting a rb25 crank in to a rb20, and does it take it out to 2.4l, has anyone doen this is it a good power upgrade, and do u just swap the crank, or the crank and rods?

also guys i have a to4, .5 intake and1.00 exaust, i can get the exaust housing downsized, but what do u think i should down size it to,? .63 .7 .58

and also afta pricing on a power fc, or is a re map cheaper and as good,

i want to build a 220kw atw r32 thats my goal,

and recipies for this?

Just changing the crank wont stroke it out to 2.4L, you need to change the pistons, as well as the rods(i think..) Im pretty sure tomei do a kit for that kind of thing, I know it comes with pistons but I think you need to provide the rods for it (RB26 prolly)

I'd say a fair bit of work is involved if you have to replace the crank and put new pistons/rods in, will need the head off, as well as, obviously, the sump.

RB20 strokers can be built using RB25 or RB26 crank and rods. Final displacement depends largely on what size pistons you use.

The Tomeii kit uses RB26 crank and rods, and the pistons are designed to suit. If you used the RB25 crank and rods with the Tomeii pistons you will find they sit lower in the bore.

IMO its a relatively involved exercise that will involve rebuilding most of the engine (certainly all of the bottom end). It's not a simple bolt in bolt out proposition.
