Learning Japanese

I did Japanese in years 11 and 12.......but can't remember all the good stuff just the usual stuff, after seeing this tread i might get back into it, It would be killa to be able to speak Japanese sweet and of course go to Japan sometime and at least be able to get around!

I am going to be throwing myself in the deep end in August, I have limited skills (I think so), but maybe just enough to minimally survive.. I am doing a short tour first that is arranged, so I am hoping to get a feel for things before I go it alone.. I like the "Sink or Swim" idea.. At the moment I will be ahppy if I just keep my head abnove water to grab gasps of air..
