Hello,

12CM x 4.5CM = Same as walbro as far as i know.

I think you should be fine, these pumps will flow plenty of horses... Throw it in and wind the boost up and see yourself.. we have a video of our car (R33 GTS-t) Running 1.5bar with a walbro and nice fuel pressure.

Not sure why everyone is dissing walbro pumps.

PUMP^KING^007

Hello,

Looks like there was a few people that purchesed these off "CEFIRO_PWA". I am australia's biggest Walbro/Sard/Bosch supplier, If anyone can give me his contact number i will do my best and play a role of doing a cheap big sale for him.

Thank you.

p.s not every walbro has writing, depending on which stock you get, and which model. Tose dimensions are the 700BHP model.... We sell them for $189.99c!

May i ask how much you people paid?

I've had some dodgy dealing with this guy too, bought a pump off him, took 5 weeks to arrive, and only after I threatened to have him banned. Blitz is aware of his antics. I too don't believe the pump I was sent was a genuine Walboro, I've seen the Walboro's before, I won't be risking this on my engine.

Got in contact with...was given a tracking number. TJ try and get in contact with him, he is picking up his phone. AND its 0432, not 0423, dont do the same mistake as me....not nice... :)

Hello,

I am being terrified from what i am hearing. There is two kinds of walbro's you get from the states.

One with blue top lids, and one with black top lids. I was told from Walbro USA they are the high-pressure , High horsepower output models. They are $129each , if you buy over 50 of them at once. The black top ones are cheaper,450bhp low-pressure model's... They are not worth anymore then $60.00 USD each direct from supplier.

If you guy's recieved the ones i am thinking of , then you should be dead-set lucky!

Cheers

Seriously how can you tell?

I have heaps of dealings on this forum. I think this is taken too lightly.

I think before someone is allowed to trade there should be a qualifictation or something like on E Bay or the likes .

This guy is a damn criminal , ripps people off by using a fraudulant trick.

This is jail time!

fair enough, but before I buy off someone I haven't dealt with before I do a couple of things:

1. check their recent post history and threads started to try and get a feel for what they are like.

2. check their trader rating (obviously any negatives is a bad sign)

3. open comunication with them via telephone or email (so I have some more contact details).

that is the best advice I can give you.

now for some more practical advice. if you want to check this pump it's quite simple. you need two buckets. the pump, a full charged car battery, some fuel. now if it's rating is at XXX PSI I guess you will have to hook up a reg too.

you just need to fill one bucket with fuel have the pumps pick-up in there, run the pumps outlet to the other bucket, run the pump for one minute exactly and measure how much fuel it flows in one minute then times by 60 and you get your litres/hour.

Hello,

It doesn't have to be fuel to do this test, it can be water... Just make sure you blow dry the pump and its internal's once you are finished.

I doubt you would get a chance to do 1minute with a blue-top walbro in a 10L bucket :)

PUMP^KING^007

yeah, you could do 30seconds and times by 120. the reason i suggested fuel is purely to save having water in the pump. but yes I'm sure whatever fluid would give a fairly close result. 10 litres a minutes is 600 litres per hour though, that will be one serious pump!!

havent done the test yet, the lids are blue

 and how much did you say you paid for this??? I know i wont sell these for less then $189 myself... They cost me over $129 to order in a big batch of 30-50 pumps.

Please do the test.

Yeh the Lids are Blue , came with no instructions or numbers on them, i need physical sizes of a real Walpro to compare , mine is for the GTr and is supposed to flow 255 l p hour, any one got a pic of the Walpro pump that we could have a look at?

Spoke to this guy to day, got a # thru members .

He reckons it's the real deal ???????I think i know his name but i shall keep this up my sleave, until we are definetly positive that it's a fake , which i will bet my left nut it is .

What significance will the colour of the lid make?

I paid $145.00 for it.

i reckon you have all got original walbros... they are small, i had the same thoughts when the first came out and got one... do the test someone'

anyhow, id like his details, as we are chasing him over other matters.

cheers

tj

they should come in a plastic bag, with a separate plastic bag which contains:

- Install Instructions

- Sock Filter

- Electrical Connector,

- 2 Hose Clamps

- Piece of hose

- Rubber thing that goes on bottom of pump to hold sock filter in

I was contacted by this guy, who was claiming that he sells them to the guy I buy them from. However this isn't the case, as we get them directly from the US.

I guess the price he was offering was too good to be true!!

CEFIRO_PWA is on the bad traders list aka mines_datsun, redfc, doridori32. His contact details are listed, for anyone who cares to contact him about the matter.

I can't believe this has happened again, this scam artist has been ripping people off for ages. Perhaps some of the people who have been ripped off by this guy should unite....

Pump King, or should I say Cefiro_PWA, its clear you think that people here at SAU are extremely gullible - either that or you are a complete idiot.

Your posting in here reaked as suspicious along with your join date not to mention the fact you are trying to trade here using an email with the same user name as one of your phone bank accounts that you supplied under your AE of Cefiro_PWA.

You have been reported to the police so do yourself a favour and quit before you get yourself even further up shit creek.

Ok, I've been asked for pics of what the Walbro pumps are ment to be...

they are a lot smaller than a stock fuel pump, but bigger doesn't necessarily mean better!!

the body of the pump measures approx 10cm x 4cm (not including plug & fuel feed lines)

It should have stamped on the body:

__ _ __

              PAT 4500270 5421306

This is for Walbro GSS-341 255L/hr High Pressure fuel pump.

It has a black top. there are other model walbro's which have different model numbers!

Here are pics of what you should get when you order one. (I took these this afternoon).

Hope this helps guys!

Yer it came in a bodgy parcel, no sender ID, no name, no address just a mobile number : 0432 616 833

The dimensions of the pump are 12cm x 4.5cm

The reason why i think its not genuine is because it has no part No. or any Walbro name on the pump

I havent put the pump in yet, should i be cautious in putting it into the car?

Yeh,

i surely am!

How can any idiot expect to sell and then send a part , particularly a pump, with no instructions , Part number no ID at all , only a a niave person would put it in the tank and cross their fingers and hope all go"s OK.I mean what person with would do that?? Maybe one with an IQ of 90 and under!

Me either!

    • Hi. A little bit of an update. It maybe(hope not) looks like i would need a new tranny(it would be "maybe" a cheaper or better option anyway) So i need some info. I know i need a different propshaft(i can make custom one) LSD is not a problem cuz the engine will be still(for now) N/A RB20. So if i buy RB25DET NEO tranny...is there something else i need? I read something about push/pull type but i do not know if i need to "change" something or i can just plug n play onto my engine a go? Thanks for the advice
    • Good morning all, Bit of a random question but figured I’d finally throw it out after wondering for a long while. Before I start, I'm hoping to do this purely out of personal preference. I think it would look better at night, and don't mind at all spending a few hours and dollars to get it done. I've copied this from a non-Skyline specific forum, so I apologize for the explanation of our headlight switch setup that we all know. Here we go: Zero lights (switch off) Parking lights (switch position 1) being a rectangular marker on the outside of the housing, my low beam being the projector in the centre (position 2), and a high beam triggered by my turn signal stalk. Most North American cars I’ve owned of this era have power to the amber corner (turning indicator) light as part of the first switch (parking lights). I’d love to have these amber corners receive power when the headlights and parking lights are on (headlight switch), yet still blink when using the turn signal which is of course a separate switch. Hopefully I’ve explained my question correctly. Is anyone aware of a way in which I might be able to achieve this? Thanks in advance
    • My heads are cathedral port! It's likely possible, but I don't want to add any extra moving parts (I know they don't move) between the heads, manifolds, etc. It will also affect how injectors/fuel rails etc sit and I don't really know if it would change how the FAST manifold goes/sits/fits. I have the LS6 steam pipes already as I have a very late LS1 block so it should be fine. I couldn't find anyone who had ever actually used one for this purpose, it seems 100% of people grind the water pump. The thermal spacers are 12mm and are half way to the cost of the newer water pump anyhow... so if it comes to that I suppose I'd rather buy a new pump. The bearing in the pump I do have is a little.. clunky, but it hasn't done that much time and I never noticed it when the car was together in the past few years, so..
    • The bushing has failed, not all that uncommon for a car of this age.  Any mechanic should be able to push in a new bushing for you, or you can probably buy the entire lower control arm, complete with bushes.
    • Could you not use "thermal" spacers to give the clearance, like the ones I used between the blower and head? That raised the manifold height by around 10-15mm Albeit the ones I used were for cathedral ports, but I assume they have similar for rectangular ports????
