Commodore Rims on GTS

Ok, well my boss just offered to give me his like new avanti racing rims off his VU SS ute IF they would fit on my 'line.

I dont know much about wheels as such so does anyone know if its possible for these to fit on the skyline or if there no chance in hell?

They are 17" x 8"

1.Whats the off set............should be about 35's for your line.

2.Will they clear the 4-spots up front?

I have absoulty no idea, thus why I asked . i suppose I will need to get a professional to check and tell me of it would work or not.

you can get them modified to fit though..... even better why not chase down a set of full sik pursuit rims, their good for an extra 60hp ... :bahaha:

forget the pursuit rims, now that chrome is cool again get some 12 slotters!!

Doctor, on these forums, just put tickford rims on his R32... i am pretty sure ford and holden share the same stud pattern.

commdores and falcons share the same stud pattern but different offsets......

Can't you ;

a) go down to Bob Jane and either try the PC with all the different rims on to a Skyline or ask one of the staff members

B) Try fitting one to the front.

ford falcon stud pattern 5 x 114.3 same as nissan 5 stud

holden commodore stud pattern 5 x 120

Have physically tried it myself, holden wheels wont fit!!

also even though ford has the same stud pattern just about every generation falcon has different offset and centrebore.

The only one I know is AU falcon is close to GTR offset, EA is no where near it.

they wont fit, however, if he will just give them to you, take them sell for half the RRP .. coz the money you sell em for is all profit

i think that you could possibly get something made up that would give you the right stud pattern. Like some kind of spacers etc. Give a few wheel shops a call and ask if its possible.
