Was bored today :)

I put on a set of spare burn out rims for Willowbank the other night and thought whilst they were on I would give them a coat of paint.

I thought it looked ok so I sprayed my Stock rims.

I could not wait to save up for a decent set of rims when there is so much else to spend money on other upgrades

Put some tyre black on the tyres and she'll b sweet

Not too bad from a distance and almost looks like the real thing - just need some contrasting fake writing (say red or yellow) along the side and you'll look almost like its real.

I had to wait before blackening the tyres.

I used a polyurethane(sp?) based paint.

I got slack at the end and did not wipe the edge with Grease and Oil remover so it did not stick the best.

Will touch it up.

A guy I know did this to his s14. Unless its quality paint it'll start looking really, really dodgy (ie lose the gloss and peel off). Does look pretty good tho.
