pkblade
Simon at Import Spares mentioned to me he also runs a compliance workshop for most Skylines. I forgot the name, coz it was really long. chalon
PVP Imports is very good, Mullers Rd Greenacres. Also Best Enterprises. Try searching the forums, I think this has been asked a fair few times. BigMicky
PVP. I'm doing my own compliance, and the guy there sold me all the stuff I need to do it myself. they do the full job including taking it through regency for about $1100. after getting half way through a DIY compliance, I recon its worth every cent. Spangers
I just rang PVP and they want $1580 to comply my car :S Is it just me or is that expensive? Any other places people could recomend so I can compare prices? Rang the guy at import spares and he recomended PVP, I would definatly go with PVP but its so expensive, I was expecting $1300 max. Maybe if I could get another quote PVP would try to match it? oz_cefiro
I'd go to best enterprises, they are in the phone book and are out on cavan rd from memory, it'd be about $1200, that's what it was for my cefiro. writeoff
I had all three of my cars complied by Joanne, Neil, Craig and the rest of the crew at Best Enterprises. I'd recommend them. Heaps of contact, reasonable prices, professional job. Need I say more. BigMicky
$1580 does seem expensive... have you though about DIY? its a major pain, and heaps of work, but is cheap. it all depends on howe mechanically minded you are. and whether your time is more valuable than your money.... chalon
The cost depends on the mods u have as well - some will need to be removed and refitted for the Regency run. Also the fact that you have a 4 door means u will need an extra set of side intrusion bars for the rear? Most ppl suggest PVP and Best Enterprises. Ring both for a quote and see how u go. If u can do arrange it, take it to them so they can give u a better idea. Spangers
I got home to late to ring Best Enterprises, ill try to get hold of them tomorrow or Saturday. I was just wondering does Best Enterprises take your car through regency for you because I know PVP does. The thing is even if alot of mods have to be removed from my car I definatly aint paying $1580 and then even more for the mods to be removed. How much does it cost for regency to have a look at your car? Maybe thats where the extra $300 is comming onto the PVP price, unless Best Enterprises takes your car through and only charges $1200? Kozeyekan
Is it cheaper to buy the compliance parts yourself, give it a crack and have the workshop do what you can't, or do they all insist on buying the parts and marking them up for you? writeoff
Best Enterprizes do charge you to take gear off to get through Regency. All the stuff off my grey GTR amounted to over $600. It also cost that amount again to get everything refitted (but not by Best Ent). They take the car through Regency and charge an hours labour $66, but this would be included in your original quote from them.
