Rebuilding Turbo

Im just wondering what is involed in rebuilding a turbo that has shaft play, and what would be the cost?

ballbearing or not?

i belived it is plan bearing, oil cooled only

It involves taking it to the turbo shop, putting on counter, intructing them to rebuild your turbo, and coming back two days later!!

ahaha, that sounds just about right im just tring to work out the cost, as i havnt bought this turbo yet and im tring to work out if the total cost in the end is really worth buying it

I think you can get a turbo "rebuilt" for about $350.

New seals, tidy up etc.
