Are you comparing stock vs stock?  Only way to do this comparison fairly.

Yes!!! stock vs stock.

I posted up this thread in order to also find out a little more about the cars as i have come from a vl commodore so any infornmation id appriciate.

Thanks to all whom reply.

Its a matter of opinion. But the facts R33 is roomer and has a better more powerful engine, r33 is 100kgs heavier but still quicker in a straight line. Ive heard R32s handle better but im unsure on that one.

I prefer the looks of the R33, inside and out. R32's are starting to look a bit dated.

yeah zactly it all comes down to personal preference, everyones biased towards the car they drive, so your gonna get alot of opinions that will end up confusing you, only way to determine is find one of the two YOU like and buy it. :)

personally, R33 all the way, updated ex/interior, and jst looks alot better. :D

I love the 32s with my heart. for me they are a much nicer looking car, I don't even mind the interior.

BUT my head loves the 33s. they are slightly newer, slightly better interior etc.

BTW, i'm talking GTRs. 33 GTSTs do not float my boat.

That is exactly what i thought when thinking about posting this thread but ended up doing it neways to hear what 33 drivers like over the 32 and vis versa.

Some intereting stuff has been said and helps.

Myself i like the 32 look over the 33 but again as another member said it comes down to what takes ya fancy.

Not sure about the 90's rolla though INASNT lol

32's are better.... In my opinion. Don't mention fuel economy on this forum! I don't bother checking anymore, it isnt that great. I don't know what has been done to my 32 besides zorst & pod, but it wastes my mates 33. His is stock as tho, but mine has had very little done to it as well. I prefer the look of the 32 GTSt. 33 GTR looks alright tho.

R32 My friend. I have one. Out of my group of friends, 8 of us have R32's and only one has an R33 (and for good reason) haha. I personaly don't like the look of the R33, not in stock form anyway.

R32's are cheaper for parts although due to their age, parts are a little harder to find (compared to R33)

It all comes down to personal opinion. If you want a boat, but have outright power, go the R33. If you want nimbleness and outright good looks, the R32 is the way to go (4 door especially hehe).

Don't get me wrong. R33's are great, especially when kit-ed up and NO WING! But I'll always be a 32 man... different strokes I guess.

    • I’m only posting this cause I thought I had seen a bad review on these somewhere before. Any feedback? Would you guys recommend that if I do buy these I send em to RC to have em checked before installing. Or any other suggestions?   https://www.ebay.com/itm/114009965865?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=JDl-15yLQ8C&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=QTzlFXB1S-S&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
    • They see me rollin' they hatin'....... Took me most of the day to make the necessary mods to the mounts to make them fit the car.  Fortunately I was able to just use the mounts that came with the rotisserie. The rear ones are really secure, the front I feel i might reinforce a bit more as it doesn't seem like enough attachment to the vehicle. I'm sure it's fine but better to be safe than (extremely...) sorry.  I drilled and tapped thread into additional M12 holes to each car mount where it attaches to the rotisserie as an extra fail-safe. Without them the side to side movement is just restricted by the allen head pinch bolts, nothing actually goes though the beam. Does now! I still need to adjust the rotisserie to get the car centred in terms of centre of gravity. If it's too high or too low relative to the rotational centre line of the car, it will be like a turtle and roll onto its back or as it currently sits, I dont think I'd be able to rotate it as it sits as it needs to lift the whole car up as it rotates. Ain't happening... I'm going to be nervous as hell the first time I go to spin it on its side...
    • Oh yes done this when the window started flopping around.  Turns out the guides that run along the rail chanel had crumbed way. Took off the door card and pulled out the window mech, then the window, which you have to pull out through the top. As said unbolt the guide rail and don't spend 30 minutes getting frustrated trying to find a way to slide it out upwards cause that don't frigging work. Drop it down and out through the door hole. All I did to repair it was slice some 10mm clear plastic tube, vertically, then screw it to the guide rail both sides. This tubing rolls inward on both sides and leaves a gap wide enough to hold the window. To finish all I did was lube the plastic tube with olive oil and Bob's your uncle . . . well if he has the operation he can be your Aunt ! !  10 bucks in plastic tube and another 5 minute job done again . . . . YEH BULLSH#T ! My love for Skylines knows no bounds !
