Before i start spending more $$$ on my car interested in what people are paying per hour for work on their cars.

Im paying $70.00 an hour, always happy with the quality of work and service, from a shop that always has plenty of nice turbo performance cars.

Im one of those shitty customers that does a lot of work on car myslef, and only go to them for major things or pain in ass jobs. Even still they are always great.

Happy to continue with these guys but looking at engine rebuild and will soon rack up $$$ @ $70.00 an hour. Not sure if i should farm out to specialised engine shop, some other performance shop, or stick with what i know. I know quality costs money but current mechanic is a large shop so naturally has higher overheads then say some other smaller QUALITY shops.

eg i keep hearing about Hills Motorsport, can someone tell me their $/hr rate
