gaskets?

Does anyone know where or if you can get gasket kits for the L20et. Most parts suppliers dont even have the engine on record. Are the L24 kits the same? If someone has the info it would be great. Cheers

have you tryed "Von bibra" Nissan at ashmore? this would sh$t ya but the was a big name head gasket on ebay about 3 weeks ago....

use a L20a Head set, its the same as a l20et. Ive been using one kit on my l20et for over a year now no problems

unfortunately (?) we didn't get the L20a over here either. It's only the head gasket that's different. The rest of the gaskets from L24 will be OK. Just need to find an obliging Nissan dealer for the head gasket - I expect some of them might not want to help...

what's wrong with the car? my advice is unless its done a head gasket, or burnt a valve, leave the head on. Valve stem seals can be done with the head on the car, if that's the problem - it is with mine...

I had to use L28 gaskets on my L20et when it blew. they were made by AGL i think the company is, aussie company so should be pretty easy to find. Or like the guys said L20A but I couldnt find that set where i live in NZ

Thanks heaps people. I used the L24 gaskets and they seem to have worked. Now I'm just waiting on a few more parts and the old girl should be back on the road.
