justin911
Ok people maybe I missing something here.. but like how do you do a burnout ? I've tried the hole revving her then quickly braking thing.. the car just hops along as if the brakes are to strong or something.. I went to calder for the first time tonight, and god its embarassing not doing the hole burnout thing before hand Never realy anoyed me until now (due to the fact I hadnt been to calder b4) So I need detailed instructions on how exactly to do it please. Also I know doing burnout before race wont realy affect my car/tyres since it isnt exactly a a full on drag car, but its pissing me off now that I cant. question> thanks heaps ppls Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/81464-burnouts/ Share on other sites

gtrGhosTDoGG11
If shes hopping around, then I suggest your not giving it enoug gas. Just keep her on before redline, that has to keep her spinning. r33GTS-t-200kw
just disconnect your rear brakes or get some sort of line locker and go nuts but this is generally the order 1) rev it to about 3k (depending on power of your car) 2) drop the clutch 3) get it revving around 6-7k 4) quickly introduce the brake pedal but only do it enough so you dont move 5) look in the rear view to see the smoke billowing out ya ass Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/81464-burnouts/#findComment-1479645 Share on other sites

Lepperfish
Drop the clutch at about 5k rpm. Get your left foot on the brakes. Hold it enough so you dont move. Put the clutch in. change into 2nd gear and get back on the brakes. Easy! Sumo
Hold your wheel left or right hand down, it sucks just to do a skid. A donut is much better More impressive too. Bazelinez
Yeah heel-toe. Put the top half of your foot on the brake. The bottom half give it gas till about 4K then ease the clutch out quickly, floor it to get it spinning well then ease off till it sits there comforably. I'll show you if you want? Bring your car round Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/81464-burnouts/#findComment-1479956 Share on other sites
