Octane booster usually lists how many 'points' it boosts a particular volume of fuel.

Points as in 0.1, 0.2 etc...

98 octane with a booster capable of increasing say, 40L of fuel by 5 points would make it 98.5.

it'd be a percentage increase according to how much fuel you have in your tank..
