where to get oil @ a good price?

Shell helix Ultra has a viscosity rating of 5W-40.

The first number indicates the viscosity of the oil at low operating temperatures, and the second indicates the viscosity grade at 100C.

5W-40 is perfectly fine for Skylines, and I've noticed the Shell oils stay cleaner longer than the Mobil oils in my experience. (Not that Mobil 1 isn't good. That too stays very clean).

But I dont EVER recomend Castrol mineral oils for ANY car! That has a tendancy of getting dirty very quickly! I dont know about their synthetic oils though...

For Oil Filters, I use the Ryco Z145A (yes, the one for 300zx's and VL's).

I've also used a Valvoline one (the equivalent item number is V04 from memory).

INASNT (and everyone else), change your fuel filter asap if you haven't already. This *cheap* little item can easily rob you of performance and economy if dirty!

i have had my car 1 1/2 years and have changed it twice already!

glad i dug this up... i havent changed either the filter or the oil since i got it over 6 months ago

i went and got some oil now i need the filter...
