slow_r31
as per topic my r31 has a habit of chopping out rear tyres on the inside with its last couple of sets. not too severly, but enough to limit the lifespan of the tyre. Being live rear axle adjusting toe and camber seems impracticle. Does anyone have any suggestions or thoughts? This bends the axle tubes and results in positive camber. That's the first thing I would check. boston
that would chop out the outside of the tyres.. not the inside Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/81723-inside-of-tyres-wearing-on-live-rear-axle/#findComment-1490249 Share on other sites
Craved
true boston, but what would be required is to send it somewhere to get the entire axle bent to reduce negative camber and toe angles. Craved
any diff/axle centre should be able to bend the axle back ... done on many live axle race cars i've seen. ie.
