Question Regarding Adjustable Cam Gears

Ok I Have Been Doing A Bit Of A Search On Adjustable Exhaust Cam Gears On A R33 Rb25det With Tomei Poncams. I See Some People Dont Seem To Adjust The Gear At All Once Fitting The Poncams. Is This Right?

Is There Any Point Of Having The Adjustable Exhaust Cam Gear On There If It Isn't Moved From 0 ?

The search would have also revealed the reason most don't bother, that being they seem to lose power when adjusted off zero degrees. I think this also answers your second question.

ok might just set the gear to 0 and leave it at that.

You're correct. If Poncams are fitted, there is no need for the camgears. The Poncams are perfectly suited to optimum.

there is no point to them if you are just going to leave it at 0. the whole reason people put them on is because they are adjustable. you take that out of the equation and you've got nothing.
