AH! theres oil in my radiator!!

After undoing the radiator drain plug i noticed a 'milky' oil+water mixture pour out from my radiator... im guessing theres a leak in my AUTO transmission cooler located inside the bottom of the radiator?? yea??

I'm guessing youve blown a head gasket....

i think that milky substance means you've fried a cylinder or something along those lines.. but im not 100%.

Normally means that your head gasket is leaking oil into the water and vice versa. ie need new head gasket...

I checked the engine oil dipstick and it was still full(after drain) and seemed fine.

I had a look at the transmission dipstick and it was very watery and almost empty, looked similar to the bowny milky liquid that came out of the radiator...

Is there anyway of testing the head gasket?

You could have trany oil in the radiator . Undo the 2 pipes that go in the radiator ( trany oil pipes ) , undo the radiator cap , block one of the pipes and blow compressed air in the other , if you see bubbles on the top then you know its trany oil .

You have to get it fixed very quick or you will destroy your trany , good excuse to convert to manual though .

yep just as i suspected - cracked transmission cooler

Manual transmission i wish but I think i might just pickup an external cooler instead.
