When i turn the ingnition key into the ON position, i get a constant buzzing sound that seems to to be coming from the bottom of my car. Its not the fuel pump because i can hear that operating over this buzzing sound. Also the transmisson oil pan vibrates a fair bit <-- is there a transmission pump or something that could be worn - which is causing this buzzing sound?

could have something to do with your Hicas pump primimg itself. there are lines running up to the rear of the tranny. my r32 does this for about 10 seconds, and then reprimes every 6-8 seconds after that, i dont worry about it

could be a loose bolt on one of your hicas lines, or quite possibly a warning your fuel pump is about to pack it in....

i'd recommend sliding underneathg your car to figure out exactly where this 'buzzing' is coming from
