P-Plater restrictions for ACT?

Hey guys,

Im sure all of you know of the P-Plater laws in NSW, restricting P's to drive/own high perfomance 6 cyl. vehicles, turbo-charged, super charged and 8 cyl vehicles, just wondering if anyone knows if and when these laws may be coming into ACT? i rang the RTA ACT and the lady said shes heard nothing about it and if there was it hasnt gone through legislation etc... but she didnt exactly sound like she knew what she was talking about. so if anyone could help me out that would be great,

At the moment these do not apply in the ACT.

i dont believe these rules will be enforced in the ACT, our problem of young hoons in fast cars in far less than in NSW. but you never know.

Yeah at the moment things are as they were before the rule was introduced in NSW.

Doesn't mean that they won't introduce the same rule here though.

agreed wont be brought into the ACT any time soon it hasent even been talked about to my knowledge... doesnt matter anyways beau you dont have $5 to your name so you couldnt afford a "performance car" j/ks

they said they were going to tryout the new laws in sydney for a while before they introduce it to the ACT, so by the time u and gussy get off the pushbikes, they might not yet have made it ACT law...
