Question about r32 radiator

i bought a r32 gtst radiator for my s13 silvia, there is a hole next to the lower hose, i was wondering whats that hole for?? is that for a sensor or something??

It's for a thermal switch that activates an A/C radiator fan. You could use the same switch to activate a thermo fan.

is a r33 radiator taller then the r32 radiator??? i tried to fit a r33 gts-t series 2 radiator in mine and i couldnt close the bonnet because it was to tall, does anyone know if the r32 radiator is shorter??? height wise???

The 33 radiator is about an inch or so taller than the 32 radiator from memory. It's been a while since i saw them side by side
