have you had the same prob with your car

can't say I have, but if the computer doesn't get a reading from the AFM it goes into limp mode and won't let the car rev. Good place to start diagnosing...

firstly check the plug for the AFM, then if it's plugged in, unplug it and see if the car runs the same.

though maybe have a search in forced induction section, because it could be a common problem....

Thanks for the tip mate will check and see whether or not the afm is causing troubles...........

lol checked the afm today there are no hassles there will have to put the lap link on and check again! From memory last time i put it on the tps was reading about 40 am unsure whether or not to adjust it to 0 and try it again.........

have checked the afm & cleaned it the problem is still there intermittantly!!!!!!! Have been watching this for a while the boost still comes on but im thinking it seems to have a bit of fuel starve under accelaration so im going to attempt to get a new fuel pump and reg installed and see how it goes then!!!!!!!!!!!
