hey guys...just wondering if any of you knew what this is. on my skyline there is a small squareish box on one of the air pipes. it originates from the resinator assy and leads via air hose to the intake manifold collector. after this it then transfers into another very bendy pipe and when you follow it around it leads to a small rectangular box. im guessing the pipes lead to the air regulator but just wondering if you knew what the box is.

i am guessing that it is used for when the engine is running on cold, that air pipe sucks air through it more rather than from the pipe leading to the throttle chamber. i have not tested yet if it still sucks when the engine is running warm, only cold.
