how much $$$ would i be looking at if i was to purchase a new set of headers for my rb25det????

I think that depends on exactly what you want.

I was quoted $1400-$1800 for custom tuned length, ceramic coated, external gate headers, built by a performace exhaust shop. Hand finished inside and out.

I think a set from Japan is a similar price, new.

The cheapest you'll find for custom work is around $900, but this is not tuned length etc.

Steve is right tuned length, cermic coated will cost quite alot, but most Jap brands start at $1800 and head up.

The choice should be dependant on what power your planning on producing, if it is around 400rwhp or less then the whole hog may not be worth it, if it is any more then spend the extra money as the gains will be significant.
