The ecu will be going into the rich and retarted load points of the factory ecu maps from the increased boost over standard that your running.

Three Options.

1, Turn boost down to a lower pressure.

2, Get a SAFC and trim the AFM output to fool the ecu. (Bit of a band-aid approach)

3, Get a PowerFC or equivalent aftermarket ecu and get it tuned and get gains in all areas of the powerband.

The factory ecu's a real pain in the nut sack, when you try to make more power then standard.

Was just thinking the PowerFC wouldn't be an option really either as you have an Auto and will lose the factory smooth shifts if you went that way.

Get a SAFC and maybe wait and see what these new Greedy Emanages are like when they become a little more popular.

I have just felt the same problem. if I leave my car with stock boost 9-10psi (intercooler, exahust) the car runs awesome. But when I try to boost it up to 12 psi I feel the same problem, low acceration just past 4500 then after about 500- 1000 revs the acceration picks up again.

With the safc how do you trick the ECU, reduce the fuel at 4500? or the whole range after 4500. BUt then the car will start to ping.. If the second then really you cant get much more power with the stock ecu after 10 - 11 psi?
