Hi there,

As the rather long subject line says, looking to sell my current Apexi Power FC, with it's current AFM setup, also included is the Hand controller and the FC Datalogit with is a more advanced version of the mapping and tuning software for the Apexi ECU's.

Looking for AUD $ 1400 all up and I'll cover postage to Australia or anywhere in NZ.

Can't split the 2 x Z32's from the deal unless you're happy to wait until I've got rid of the ECU and the person who buys the ECU doesn't want them. They'll get first offer, but can happily hold them if you're willing to wait and see.

FC Datalogit is $ 400 USD on it's own if you buy one seperately from their website. You'll save the cost just in tuning time on a dyno. Without an FC Datalogit you'll have to use a hand controller and that will take hours and you probably won't get as good a result.

Reason for sale, I'm building a new motor and the power FC won't really do what I want. Has worked faultlessly up till now. If you've got a factory motor and turbos, this kit will bolt up and probably will only need an hour on the dyno to see you making nearly 290-300KW at all 4.

ill take an afm if you decide to seperate

I've already got someone who's willing to take both AFM's if someone purchases the rest and doesn't want the AFM's.

Come on people.........willing to seriously consider sensible offers.

Pity it wasn't for a R32, you would have a sale

Regards

Andrew

Yeah it is a shame that the ECU's won't work across the different cars.

Datalogit works on all RB 26's but because the ECU is involved in more than just engine I believe it's a no go, unless someone else knows otherwise.

I think it's a great deal, moneywise, just not many 34 GTR owners around to buy.

Anyone please tell me if you think it's just the price rather than level of buyers that's stopping this from selling.

Hi Fraser, I think it's the fact that there aren't many 34GTR's here.

Would you consider selling the FC-Datalogit seperately?

Would only be willing to seperate if the purchaser of the ECU didn't want it.

Think I have a buyer for the lot now though......

I'll post back either way.

    • I have replaced the larger coolant temp sensor, i do see a smaller one next to it (looks to be just 1 pin) but i assume that is just for the dash? or should i replace that aswell?
    • Check coolant temp sensor ~ symptoms fit the hard hot start/cold start OK scenario --- if sensor goes open circuit, ECU thinks engine is cold and enriches mixture ....works when engine cold, but floods them with rich mixture when hot (Hyundi MAP engines are a bit infamous for this)...
    • OK, starter changed for a spare without much trouble. Neil had kindly left space to get to the top starter motor bolt from above with a long spanner which makes the whole deal much easier, and everything else was neat and easy to get at from underneath. Once the starter was changed everything was good, unplugged the CAS and turned the motor on the starter to make sure everything was free and happy. Onto properly priming the oil and first start. I'd picked up one of these oil prime kit from Boost doc a while back and this was my first time using it.  https://boostdoc.com.au/products/engine-oil-prime-kit?_pos=1&_sid=28c628a65&_ss=r While I'd organised all the fittings to hook it up to my GTR (sump plug to -6 feed and -4 T to tap it in and retain the oil pressure gauge, neither suited on this car as the oil pressure needs to T into 1/8 NPT not -4 and the Aeropro sump has some massive drainplug not that factory whatever it is. So, waiting for a couple of fittings, then I'll prime it and do first start, hopefully next weekend. Other than that going well, there is very little stopping a final alignment, tune then shakedown day
    • Also to mention, i just tested the CAS, seems to be working fine, can hear the pulses inbetween 0 and 180 degrees, another mention aswell, when i let the car sit for about a hour today, i went to start it and it almost fired on first crank, then just completely struggled. Could it possibly be blocked injectors?, maybe allowing a little bit of fuel to seep past allowing it it almost start first crank?
