Hey, bad luck with that man. Can only hope for the best with that sort of thing. Hopefully when she comes back out, it will hit the 10's consistantly!

Had a good day today guys, congrats on the guys on their PB's, hows the Enforcer RX3, damn, all the driver saw was blue sky! Awesome!

yup. yeah glen sorted the clutch problem after the first few runs. and chucked on some old semi slicks and wanted to see if he could get 3rd spinning for the full 1/4 mile. alas it was done.

    • My bet is there's a fuse somewhere you blew that feeds power to the ECU. Or you've bumped something out behind the dash board.
    • Does anyone know what the centreline should be for the vct intake cam? On my cam spec card it just says VARI and doesn’t actually tell me what the centreline should be. I had to adjust my exhaust cam gear by about 5 degrees advanced so I’m guessing I would have to adjust my intake as well? Current intake centreline is 119 deg. Iv already asked kelford and they won’t respond, It’s the 246-A 262 cams.  thanks for the help guys
    • Get a timing light on it and verify it's sparking reliably at a sane ignition timing. Use a COP extension lead to be 100% sure about timing instead of hoping that the timing loop on the back of the engine is accurate. Make sure it's actually injecting fuel. MAF is not used on the stock ECUs for initial cranking.
    • RE5R01A is the transmission. Didn't realize they had a 5 speed for the NA cars but for some reason the turbo engines stuck to 4 speeds. Looks like the solenoid block is still available from Nissan directly at a somewhat reasonable price: 31940-60X01 https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/epc/nissan-japan/skyline/er33/6568-rb25de/trans/317 I would move sooner on this than later. The moment the de minimis exception for Japan goes away expect to be paying 25% tariffs even for stuff like this.
    • Only RB26 are low from factory. And even then the ECU actually want high impedance, because it's essentially the same ECU as the RB20 anyway, and thus they have a f**king resistor pack!
