8 weeks wait for Regency

Hey

My mate just bought a FC Rx7 from japan and it will arrive in adelaide on wednesday.

Hes been told that theres an 8 week waiting list to get to regency, as he needs his car inspected and engineer approved, i think. Anyway does anyone know if this is true or not.

wouldnt surprise me, i hear similar stories all the time.

im guessing fc rx7 is like a over wotever yr import meaning no compliance but a full roadworthy required.

if so then ya you are just like anyone else with a defect book it in and wait in line.

you may be able to get a roadwrthy on the side maybe from a comliance centre not sure. heard its possible in other states

Whats it worth if you get a defect and get sent to regency?

Used to be $14 at the local police station.
