Hi guys .. just wondering if someone knows if the 044 requires a specific fitting for its outlet. had a look at the pump and looks like it has a banjo style fitting on it from the factory. this seems to include the valve that keeps the lines and rail pressurised once the pump is off..

is there a straight fitting that can be used while retaining that valve, or do most people remove it and prime the pump before turning the key?

Speedflow make fittings that enable either a push on hose and clamp or a threaded dash fitting. Unforturately you have to purchase a Speedflow valve fitting as well and scrap the Bosch valve. I know because i purchased the items last week from the Speedflow factory in Taree. Cost around $50.
