erghhh its total crap

where is the quick reply?

bring bak the old one

ill give it sum time

The quick reply is available, but you need to enable the feature in your settings.

I'm starting to get used to it, but still think it's a bit too dark, but I'm sure more skins will come available:D

hang on, why do people say such stuff without ever trying to inform me?

Strich, go man, i am not going to go out of my way to try and help you if thats the attitude you hold.

Styles are coming, this was the closest i could get to the vb scheme in the short amount of time i had.

The change came because of multiple problems with VB and their continual lack of support. Invision V2 is far superior to VB3 and the end user options are on their way.

Be patient everybody and post any concerns you have in the Feedback section to be acted upon.

Thanks all,

Christian

Upgraded??? I could have swore you'd call this a Downgrade..  They better do something about it.. I'd consider leaving this sh#t too, I'll see if they do make any changes 'actual improvements'.

Ha ha ha, you threatening to leave? omg, please stay, i dont know what i'll do if you leave....

im with u 100% on the forum looking like crap, i hate the colour scheme, and ye its failry slow even with a fast connection, i cant even view my previous posts and i cant find shit, previous forum board style was sweet, there was no need to change it completely, a big thnx 2 the designer 4 a crappy forum.

*yawn*

How do you enable that feature? I've looked everywhere for that option to no avail... or am I that blind?

The white font is good on a blue background only for short periods of time... after a while, it will begin to cause irritations to the eyes.

This is a proven fact with colour coordination. Same thing with having black fonts on a white background. Grey areas start appearing.

If the font style is made bigger and slightly different, it may help... I've designed plenty of websites before, and I must say that colour coordination is a very important aspect of any website.

Thanks to those involved with the forum changes, there are some that appriciate the time and efforts that went into it!

Chill out those who choose to bag! As some have said these things take time to get going, little bit of nice feedback and certain things that need fixing will get fixed!

Goosh! Idiots! :)

If thats how much time you spend on here for that to occur... you need to get out a bit more..

You know you can change the way it looks by changing it at the bottom of the page to the style you want.

I have to aggree though that it is diffcult to read [blue Illuision V2 Enhanced] but I am using the IPB Default skin and this is fine for me.

I am sure with time there will be changes.

Yep, no one is forcing them to do it, they do it because they love skylines and meet others who felt the same. Saying this, isnt this why we are all on this forum? So who gives a toss if the forum changes slighty or it runs a bit slower...

I sure dont, there are other much more important things in the world to get all stressed about than the skyline forming having a little change.

Ahh.. I give a (toss) if the forum runs slower, I have been on this forum for a few years and its been fantastic. However: I liked the old forum MUCH MORE, the info is still the same and the people are the same however the layout is in need of work "bigtime".

I cant be bothered with forums that look crud, run slow and either dont work or are retarded*

Nobody is forcing them to do anything and its awesome that they are upgrading it! I however would have left the old forum online and then thrown up the new one and tested that out for a few weeks before making the change.

Before I get flamed by irritated SAU staff who have worked on the forum I should point out that its a great forum and I respect the fact that you guys have been working away at it for ages. I run an IT forum and its often not such a bad thing to get feed back. Those getting peeved off and leaving the forum for good are children that don’t even belong in a forum like this anyway. And those sticking up for SAU that’s all good and all but hello... people are going to complain if something is worse than it was before. "You’re going to get that no matter what"

Personally I’m going to leave the forum for a week and come back after that.

    • The German place in Cabramatta was rock solid, fresh pretzel cooked to order back then. Then it went all quiet, after all the poker machines were removed, then I believe it closed for good. I did drive past the other week and noticed outdoor lighting a big screen, but no idea what is there now.
    • Yeah I suspect even if you hold airmass per cycle/cylinder constant if you get too far away from stock you're still going to have problems running the factory tune within the bounds of the factory load scale. Cams, different displacement/rod ratio, etc. I'm just lucky that the GTIII-SS with wastegate boost + CA compliance cats is pretty much equivalent to stock turbos. When I have actual space I can finally get it tuned and modify the fuel system for flex fuel to 100% handle any detonation concerns when cranking the boost to whatever those dinky turbos can put out.
    • I would say no, why, because my daughter, who also lives in Goulburn, hasn't recommended us going there Pity, as we miss all the German joints around in Sydney, actually, the restaurants are the only thing I really miss about Sydney, and a special mention to Ishibanboshi at Bondi Junction, their Kara-age Don is heart cloggingly deliciousness (always added a special boiled egg...or 2) 😋
    • Does that German restaurant still exist in the old place out the NW end of Goulburn? When I say "out the NW end of"...I am really being vague. It was 1997 when I was last there, and the only point of reference I can recall is that it was on the opposite side of the main drag from the big merino. And when I say "opposite side of the main drag", I don't mean "on the main drag". It was either a couple of streets back from there, or might have even been out in the sticks a bit further. Was an old farm building or mill or somesuch. And when I say "the big merino" I might actually be thinking of a completely different part of town, because I just looked on maps and the big bugger is not where I remembered him to be! The food was good, consisting largely of various German mystery-meat sausage/loaf things and kartofflen.
    • So while the second sentence is completely correct and the whole point of the conversation, the first sentence bears consideration. If this bloke is just hoping to throw big turbos on and drive it around, because there are no helpful facilities at all in his tropical paradise** then he likely has zero chance of even knowing what the TP is on the last column in the stock maps, let alone know whether the ECU is operating anywhere near it or past it. So the point is very very moot. And, per what I said before, at stock boost on those turbos, you may well be off the end of the map. **I'm just back from Vanuatu, so I know exactly what small Pacific nations can be like wrt paradise without requisite facilities. But it's not even that simple. I put a high flow on my car and had to drive it around without a proper tune because of the lack of opportunity*** to put the bigger AFM and injectors into it to allow it to be tuned. I had to turn the boost down to less than I had before, and back off the boost controller's ramp, because it was exploring parts of the map that it didn't drive in before, and really couldn't access for tuning on the dyno either, and so was pinging. It was still well within the last column, because when I first**** set up the Nistune on the Neo I rescaled all axes of the maps to give some more space to explore. ***Family dyno was broken ****This was 13 years ago, and the TIM thing wasn't a thing then and so TP would definitely grow when pushing past the stock tune's limits.
