Help: Ipod Running Through Iva-d300

Hey all.

I just installed the IVA D300 in my car today and have my Ipod running throughit via a KCA-420i.

My question is this:

How the freak do you browse through the artists and find an album then find a song? I only played around with it for a bit but stuffed if I could do it.

It was playing the songs and showing the title but I couldnt get a list of the artists to come up. At one stage I had a list of the albums but Id rather search using the artists name.

I thought maybe someone had a similar setup that could help me.

Doesnt matter I worked it out.

Its abit of a cruddy setup.

I certainly wouldnt call it user friendly but once you know how to do it its not too bad.

i believe they fixed it with the D310E

i have an ipod adaptor connected to my pioneer 5750 (no big screen, normal DIN size)

its a POS, absolute crap, waste of money. its slow to respond and has no search function, which renders it useless in the car where u cant take you eyes off the road for long.

if the ipod was still useable while plugged in it would be better, as finding an album or artist would take a fraction of the time when compared to finding it on the headunit.

wats this D310E thingy? my friend has an ipod connected to the car and he uses the tape to play the music, i told him thats gay so im guesing this D310E is a cable?
